Rabbits

We went from thinking of getting a pet,to help with Naithan's anger to actually getting 2 rabbits all within a few days. lol.

We heard about 2 rabbits that needed rehoming. so we agreed to look at them, but the person who we was organising it, was told not to bring the rabbits back. So we agreed to have them. We had no hutch , nothing. So my very good friends sister (who we was goin to buy the hutch from) came home from work to build her hutch and get it over to us with the rabbits.

The rabbits are male and female. Male is sherlock and its tortus shell and Ruby is black. they are 4 and 3 respectivly we think. I was told they had been neuted. I hope so, don't want any baby bunnies.

My friends sister and daughter came round on the sat to show us how to make the hutch up/full clean, check the rabbits over. Unfortunatly sherlock was so matted underneath, her daughter spent hours cutting as much off as she could. It was such a shame.

Now they are both keeping each other clean,. they have loads of grass to run around. still a little timied but i love them both. They are so funny to watch.

Naithan gets up and clean's them feeds them and plays with them everyday. I just hope this will help him.

This was made for my friend's mum, it was her ruby wedding aniversary.

Ive used some wavy silk ruby beads what are just lush and love to stroke them, Ive also added some small ruby crystals with silver spacer beads each side of them. ive added the necklace beads to a chain and i found it sits lovely on the neck. the bracelt has 2 rows of silver spacer beads up to the clasp. The earrings are again silk wavy beads with the crystal added for the little sparkle we all need now and again.

I really enjoyed making this piece.

I live with Fibromyalgia and ME, so to keep me sane ive been doing crafts. I have done a few scrapbook pages but it was mainly cards i made, until recently where ive started making jewellery. I really enjoy it and it gives me something to look forward to. When i can i'll hopefully put some pics up of my work.

Ive one son who' 10 and going to big school in septemeber.I can't believe we've got to this stage. Unfortunatly he has some behavoural problems, that hopefully we'll work out soon. I live with my partner Gary, he moved in last year. It was a shock sharing stuff after there just being my son and me for 8yrs, but its great. i love him being here and my son gets on well with him. Both being into football helps.
